The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has published last week a discussion paper of promoting quality audit for public comment. The paper aims at addressing the FRC ‘s objective of promoting and maintaining confidence in the audit process and the resulting audit report .FRC welcomes the views of those stakeholders and other parties interested in the audit process.
