The Workshop offered detailed information about the Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA) and the Arab Certified Public Accountant (ACPA) examinations and certificate
RAMALLAH --- September 12, 2009--- The Palestinian State Audit Bureau (PSAB) in cooperation with the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), Ramallah Office, held a workshop at the Bureau’s premises on September 10, 2009.
Dr. Mahmoud Abu Alrub, the president of the Bureau stressed the significance of enhancing the cooperation between the private and public sectors in the Auditing field due to its impact on developing work; thus, positively reflecting on the society.
From his part, Mr. Jamal Milhem, TAG-Org Ramallah office executive director, stated that “TAG-Org is a global organization with 71 offices and 180 correspondents, for all business needs in the fields of auditing, valuation, management consulting, ICT development, business advisory, training, capital services, in addition to many others.”
In addition, the Workshop offered detailed information about the Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA) and the Arab Certified Public Accountant (ACPA) examinations and certificate.
Mr. Milhem also suggested some recommendations for institutionalizing and developing the professional work of the Bureau and means establishing cooperation between both parties.
At the end of the Workshop, Dr. Abu Alrub announced that the staff promotion will depend on obtaining professional certificates mainly the ACPA which is offered by ASCA.
He also extended his thanks to Mr. Milhem and commended the efforts exerted by TAG-Org to upgrade the potentials of the accountants all over the Arab world in general and Palestine in particular.
