NEWYORK-The International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) announced on March 8, 2007 that the International Financial Reporting Standards Board Handbook 2007 is expected to be published and available for purchase during March 2007.

The handbook will include the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs), International Accounting Standards (IASs), and the International Financial Reporting Interpretation  Committee (IFRIC) Interpretations.

The main changes in this 2007 edition of the Bound Volume are the inclusion of:

• IFRS 8 Operating Segments 
• Four new Interpretations :
1. IFRIC 9 Reassessment of Embedded Derivatives.
2. IFRIC 10 Interim Financial Reporting and Impairment.
3. IFRIC 11 IFRS 2-Group and Treasury Share Transactions.
4. IFRIC 12 Service Concession Arrangements.
