The Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission ( COSO) will release Guidance control over Financial Reporting for small companies on its website for public.
COSO was originally formed in 1985 to sponsor the National Commission on Fraudulent Financial Reporting: its goal is to study the casual factors that can lead to fraudulent financial reporting and to develop recommendations toward the enhancement of internal control systems in the business entities and fighting fraud.
