NEW YORK- The International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) will host its annual meeting with World Standard Setters on September 24, 2007 for a two-day period. The meeting will be open to public observations, in the Board's headquarters in London.
The main issues that will be tackled during the meeting include: adoption and implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) for Small and Medium Sized Entities (SMEs), and IASB future plans and projects.
IASB is committed to developing in the public interest a single set of high quality global accounting standards.
