The International Accounting Education Standards Board (IAESB) issued on September 6, 2006, an exposure draft of International Education Practice Statement (IPES) 2.1, Information Technology for Professional Accountants, which is an updated version of International Education Guidelines. Comments on the draft are supposed to be received by the Board by November 15, 2006.
IAESB is an independent standard-setting board within IFAC, develops standards and guidance on pre-qualification education, training, and continuing professional education and development for all members of the accountancy profession.
