NEW YORK- The International Federation of Accountants Small and Medium Practices (SMP) Committee released on December 14, 2007 a new guide to applying International Accounting Standards to Small and Medium sized entities
This guide aims at assisting SMPs and other auditors of SMEs entities in applying International Standards on Auditing to the audits of SMEs. The guide also provides a detailed analysis of the standards and their requirements in the context of an SME audit.
SMP Committee represents the interests of professional accountants operating in small and medium-sized practices and other professional accountants who provide services to small and medium-sized enterprises.
