NEW YORK-The International Accounting Standards Committee ( IASC ) announced on February 20, 2008 the release of the Exposure Draft of the Arabic translated glossary of temrs for the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 2006.
The Arab society for certified Public Accountants (ASCA) translated the 2006 glossary of terms. It is worth noting that ASCA is the professional body exclusively responsible for translating into Arabic the publications of the IASB.
ASCA works toward developing the accounting and management sciences and improving the quality of the profession by publishing accountancy materials, and by staying up-to-date with the new accounting and auditing standards.
