(Alghad newspaper-Amman) The Seventh Scientific Professional Conference organized by the Jordanian Association of Certified Accountants jointly with the Arab Union of Accountants and Reviewers, was launched on September 13, 2006. The conference will discuss issues related to the fair value accounting. Delegates from the private and public sectors participated in the conference.

The conference will discuss the indenture of the fair value accounting and the effect of fair value convention on the profits. It also discussed the Accounting Information framework and the Accounting measurement. In addition to discussing the significance of the disclosure requirements on the financial analysis.

Further, the conference discussed the economic growth, the capabilities of the accounting information systems in the financial firms, and the problems facing the implementation of the fair value accounting convention.
