NEW YORK-The Trustees of the International Accounting Standards Committee (IASC) Foundation, announced on May 12, 2008 that they will seek further public input on the proposals related to the first part of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) Constitution Review.
A round-table discussion will be held in the coming weeks before the publication of the official consultation document.
The Constitution Review Address the following issues:
- Governance
- Public Accountability of the Foundation and the composition of the IASB
IASC is an independent body that oversees the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).
