IASC Trustees Publish Proposals on Public Accountability and the Composition of the IASB



NEW YORK- The Trustees of the International Accounting Standards Committee (IASC) Foundation published on July 21, 2008 a discussion document: “Review of the Constitution: Public Accountability and the Composition of the International Accounting Standards Board ( IASB) - Proposals for Change”.

The document contains proposals that are dealt with in the first phase of the organization’s Constitution Review.

IASC requests comment by September 20, 2008.
